Tried searching with no luck so sorry if this has already been discussed. If so a link to the thread would be awesome. I am just curious how many people here do any type of treasure hunting. Even stuff like thrift store hunting interests me. I have been gold prospecting since I was a kid off and on and I used to be addicted to coin roll hunting. Gold prospecting is the most therapeutic hobby in the world to me and it doesn't really make sense as I could just work some OT and make way more and save my back. Anyway, just curious about others.

I still do coin roll hunting, scores have dwindled down quite a bit, but I still ask. A buddy of mine and I did some panning a couple summers ago, found a little flake but nothing crazy. I came across this site a couple weeks ago that shows old abandoned mines in your area, I would love to check out some of the silver ones up here if I can locate them.

We have four claims, all of which have old mines on them. I used to be much more into it before dredging was banned in Ca. but its still fun, just not as profitable. My buddy is a hard rock miner and that is where the money is but I don't enjoy it as much.
