OK LB, at great personal discomfort to myself (I discovered today that I am allergic to deer hair) I processed two deer today and documented both. I will post the thread pics tomorrow evening, as I've been skinning and cutting deer meat for seven hours today and to be honest, I just don't feel like doing it right now lol! I also took video of one, so once I get around to editing that I will get that posted too.

Dangers reaction was pretty severe. In the future I will deal with the skinning. It was a long day and the work is hard, but I find it one of the most satisfying things to do.

Plus I love anatomy and I just find it very beautiful and fascinating the way animals are put together.

Ok, so as promised here is my contribution to this thread. We were given two nice sized does by some of our friends so I'd like start by thanking Jon and Matthew for providing us with both the meat in our freezer and the opportunity to give the folks on this board an idea of what processing an animal is all about.
