So I'm making pizza in the woodstove tonight for dinner (thread to come later) and decided it was a good chance to practice with flint and steel for fire making, it's been awhile

the cat tails in the pond are starting to dry out

so I picked some full heads

and picked some dry reeds and grass

I picked up some dry twigs i the field

and had my tinder bundle and some fuel

I stuck the tinder bundle into the woodstove

and set some twigs over it and struck the flint

and it quickly went out

so I went and grabbed some more cat tails and made a huge pile of tinder

and after putting out the fire on my head, proceeded to feed it and bring it to life

time to make some pizza!
