I know the one handed bowline, but not the flying bowline.  That would def. impress the scouts.  It looks like a big part of that is having the right type of rope (soft and supple, yet heavy)

And after playing with it a bit, it's not a true bowline.  It functions like a bowline, but it's tied differently.
