Here is a simple oven baked beer and chicken. I had posted a recipe for a crockpot beer and chicken dish the other day. Way over complicated for me, I like to keep things simple,so I grabbed some supplies
I stuck the chicken in a bag and added some old bay and garlic and shook well
I set them in my baking dish.
And poured beer until the drums were half covered with it.
I decided to cook honey squash as a side dish.
So I peeled it up and cut the ends.
And quartered and cleaned the seeds out, these will go to the chickens and the turkeys for a treat.
I didn’t think the squash and chicken would finish at the same time, so I decided to give the squash a little boost and cut it up into pieces and threw them into a pan.
I added some butter and did a quick saute
I dumped the squash into a bread pan and drizzled it with honey.
I set it in the oven with the chicken
and waited
A hour and a half later, it was done.
It was awesome
