Easy Firewood Storage

Here is an easy firewood storage method that is inexpensive and pretty darn brilliant if you ask me. By utilizing pallets; you are able to create little storage sheds that help with drying, proper rotation, and inventorying of your woodpile.

According to the builder; each mini shed holds about a third of a cord of wood, and he is easily able to keep track of when he filled each one by simply marking the sides.

One of the big issues people have with burning wood is how physically demanding it can be; cutting, splitting, and moving the wood several times. This system won’t help you with the cutting and splitting, but for those that have access to their wood storage area through a daylight basement; this would be a great alternative to hand stacking their wood multiple times.
