we've been debating swapping out our 4 foot fluorescents to led's, don't know if I can justify the price right now.

Good news for you!

We have decided to do LED's for the new house...pay more up front, but the pay back comes relatively quick...plus they last a long time.

If you have them on a dimmer just make sure to get the correct ones for LED's.

I put a few led bulbs in the most used fixtures we have. I like the look of the light and the outside light seems brighter.

ran into an issue with them last night, seems even with the correct rheostat in if there is too many bulbs on a line they can start strobing, place looked like a disco in the middle of dinner.
