Interesting story (or at least I think so).
I recently started working for a new pest company. They service Johns Hopkins Hospital. They have a full time tech there during the week 7am-3pm and then another full time tech there from 3pm-11pm. I had to do a week with each of them as part of my training.
Well on one of my night shift nights, they (maintenance) were up working on a scissor lift, replacing lights with LEDs. We chatted with them about it. Know what their (Johns Hopkins) electric bill is? 1.3 million PER MONTH! And that's on top of what they produce themselves. They have their own plant. Crazy
