Definitely a possibility. I do like the bigger one due to improved chicken safety and the ability to keep deer out, but I'll bookmark this one too.

That is really nice!

I wish we didnt have such heavy deer pressure because low fences are just way more  pleasing to the eye.  I'm thinking we'll be OK if we use a 6ft fence for the outside wall of the moat since the inside is the existing 8 ft garden fence.  I'm just trying to think of ways to keep the costs down since we're re-fencing the orchard area this spring too. (that and wanting to plant hundreds of more trees, shrubs, plants etc).

I want to plant a few more apples, another mulberry, a pear or two, maybe try a plucot (plum/apricot hybrid)  Im going to start trying to root cuttings of my goumis, blueberries and all my other shrubs and add plantings throughout the orchard area.  Looking at adding some wolfberry (goji) too since it has a super high anti-oxident profile.
