She is good with it but this isn't a high priority. The pasture isn't going anywhere and I think we should turn our attention to gutters on the house. None are on currently and I really want to route the runoff to the large pond in back. The gutters aren't too bad by themselves but with the trenching and drainage tile needed it adds up.

We have a big deep pond that only has ~1 foot of water in it. It's only ~75 feet from the back of the house and down grade so it is an easy idea to run it into the pond. I am scoping out doing the trenching myself although I wish I could find a local company that had a sod cutter and a ditch witch so that my yard wouldn't get destroyed.

Yeah, middle buster, probably too much damage and not deep enough. I would probably have to drive over the same trench twice and I just don't see it digging a clean hole or not destroying the grass.

For running power out to the corral I could probably use a sub soiler. The only downside is it wouldn't get the water line deep enough unless I borrow a stronger tractor or somehow extend a subsoiler further into the ground.

is the bigger goal to help fill the pond or just to get it away from the building to a safer place? If the the latter could just build some swales and get some permaculture action on
Damn, those look beautiful!
