So a dairy neighbor came to cut down the hay in the field. The guy has done it for the previous owners and my neighbors so I figured I would be neighborly and not ask him for payment. After seeing how many squares of hay he got off the field I'm not sure if that was wise or not. ~3 acres or more is mine. In the pictures it is hard to tell but our neighbors have the other half.

3 to 4 dollars a bale for first cutting here. I saw an ad on Craigslist where someone would take $150 for someone to come and hay a 7 acre field. That seems low.
