Did you know that if you put bottles with saltwater in the big water bowls, then the water will not freeze to ice? Worth a try for dogs in the streets and open shelters

should work if there is enough wind to move the bottles, I have heard of people using racquet balls as well

Huh....... Meh my goats like the warm water the heated bucket gives them.

I'm a sucker, I just haul water two times a day, chipping out the pond for the ducks is starting to become a pain

I did that last year for both Goats and Chickens. I do not do that anymore. I lug my water down by my sled and I only have to haul 10 gallons a day. The heated bucket for the goats has been the best thing I have bought in awhile for the goats!! Makes it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo much easier to water them.

You need a 300 gallon open tank with a case of saltwater filled soda bottles floating around ? 🙂
