she was picking strawberries and this little critter was hanging out in our boulders
after years of watching crocodile hunter(rip), I felt my snake handling skills were above par.

Did you really get bit? You ok?
I'm here in Northern Cali,have a lot of rattlesnakes here.
Love my little Stoeger .22 for them.
What kind of snakes you have around there? Any to worry about?

No BT, I didn't get bit, but my wife was flipping out when I picked it up and carried it into the woods, she really despises snakes. It was just a garter snake. We don't have anything naturally in this state that is poisonous. There was a report a few years a back of a woman in Bar Harbor being bit by a Brown Recluse spider, but they are non native so not sure if that was true or not.
