I don't yet know for certain. Where my property is, the geology maps say sandstone. But not sure what will be between the organic topsoil layer and the sandstone.
My friend's property is nearly all clay. I got her interested in earthen building too. There was brief mention of trading our soil types if mine proves to be a good complement to her clay. Just add lime and between us we could have the makings of a great Adobe mixture... maybe? lol

I finally got decent photos to share. I took pics in panoramic mode. It creates a fisheye effect, but gives a much better look. The full resolution photos are rather big and the panoramic mode creates pictures that are very long horizontally.
I took photos following along the string which I have run to mark the boundaries of the driveway. Each photo advances forward starting at the south side of the property moving toward the center of the valley. It stops on the north side of the runoff stream before the first bend of the driveway to the right (east). There are 15 numbered photos. 01 is the south side, and 15 stops before the bend.
This is the link to the complete gallery with the full resolution pictures:

All pictures are facing north, sequentially advancing from the front (south side) of the property, following the planned driveway heading toward the back (north side) of the property.
Imagine you are walking the property yourself, going in from the road. That's what the pictures are.
