The shed is moved! Plus a smaller shed near the house. I can't believe this all went down while I was at work. I had an IP camera set up and watching the whole thing from a big meeting. He did charge me more money that he originally estimated -- so I am glad that it was already moved, off the ground, and on PVC.

The only downside is that both structure still contained junk and the guy tilted them to ~45 degrees -- so everything came crashing down. I am going to have some serious cleanup to take care of tonight/tomorrow.

And here is where the other shed was located.

so do you have to move the whole array as well? or are you just going to run wire from there to your shed?

No, the move of utilities is done. The solar array was feeding my power setup in the barn -- I took all of the equipment out of the barn and moved the new shed back in its place. That allowed me to re-install the solar equipment and not re-trench any of my power lines.

Some stuff got thrown around but it wasn't bad. Definitely worth having it done the right way. I have started clearing out the barn so I can a) run all of my outlets b) insulate and c) sheath with OSB.

Any tips on the easy way to rough in my electrical so that cutting out the outlet boxes isn't terrible? I read something where if you hang outlets 49" up off the ground (for your countertop outlets) then you will only need to cut the edge of the OSB -- but that doesn't take in to account the outlets that are 16" off the ground. Any advice?

Still cleaning out. The barn was so full of loose tools, bits, etc. it is taking forever to clean. I am going to run electrical tonight so I can clean later into the night -- a month ago we had light until 10 PM -- we are losing it at 9 PM now. Fall is coming!
