So far no trouble with the humidity.  Waiting on a mini split to be installed in 2 weeks.  It's a shaded lot which helps tremendously with the heat.  I still have my heart set on a bermed house but I am also very happy with this cabin and to be out of the damn fema trailer I lived in for over a year lol.  With global warming on the rise, I def want something bermed and of course the tornados are here.  I need to download some pics from my phone to my computer and post them soon.  I'm really happy with the house, 20x30 is great, only main regret is not going 24 x 30.

Would like to hear about your thoughts on the mini split, know two people that installed them and they speak very highly of them

I have to get a little more up to speed on those mini splits.  I think that we will eventually put one in down the road.  Don't think I will have the cash to do it up front at this time.  Shouldn't be too bad to install later...the only thing I don't like (probably the deal breaker) is that they are all electric.

yeah, but everything I have heard is the cost savings of gas or fuel oil far offsets the electric increase.

I haven't totally ruled it out...I am in sticker shock over the money we are starting to spend now...ugh.
