Holes are all in. Some better than others, lol. All but 3 posts are in, believe it or not. I had to rent a jackhammer (and the monster compressor/generator that runs it) to get holes in in one back corner. Even with that, vs a massive slab of granite, was brutal.

So, last 3 go in today. Shallower than I'd like, so using cement. Weather has been nutty for weeks so I haven't wanted to pour concrete into important holes if it was probably going to rain.

Barn is up & secure, but doesn't have a roof yet. All gates but the main are hung. Have one 12 foot panel of traditional fence to build for a catch pen (didn't want that part to be wire).  But I can close gaps like that temp with loose wire.

Literally have to get about 500 feet of this stuff up in the next 2 days and hang the main gate and im ready for them. Would like to have this done and get them moved. It's a hassle to get out to them, and every time I go I get hustled for hours of free labor. I pay to board them there. I don't want to pay for next month

Plan is to get them here and finish the project around them. I figure them getting used to me doing alot of stuff, and yet magically nothing bad happens to them, will be good. We'll also be hauling water til I dig the trench from the well head and run some pipe down there.

About 1/4 of the barn is actually a green house. So there's a ton still to be done really.

Been taking pictures when I remember to, someday it will be a thread about how I decided  I wanted them and what it took to make it happen. I've never built a barn before, shenanigans ensue.

Got one run, of four, in.

I think my expectations of how tight they get was off base a little.

Looks decent enough, I guess....

2x4s drilled and bolted like the vids. My 4 wheelers winch. Back end of 4x4 tied off with a come a long to either a tree or my truck because even with the wheels chocked it would only hold so much tension before it started skidding across the pasture.
