At the point to, finally, stretch my fence. Having trouble getting it tight.

For guys/gals that have done it before, any tricks or tips?

Also, are you tying the fence wire at the first & last post, or just using a box of staples on every post?

All info appreciated. This is the last thing standing between getting my llamas moved over to my property, Id like to get this done in the next 2 days.

We normally just start on the first post, wrap it all the way around and then start unrolling it, one or two people stretching the roll while someone staples the wire on each post. I usually use electric wire staples and a hammer versus a staple gun

if you are doing it yourself, take two 2x4's and sandwich the fence between them, use a come along on the top and bottom and adjust to the tension you need, like this

crap load of fencing we put in 2 years ago

our original fence we put in back in 2010

made a stretcher just like the one in the vid. Problem is two fold...

1) the stretcher rips out before the fence gets tight enough.

2)using the way they show in their redband videos, one ties the fence back to itself around the first post. Its hard to get this uniform, so when you stretch it some strands are just not as tight as others. Looks loose and floppy (insert joke here).
