I had like 40% on my tig/mig in CR. The tank was still over half full after building a pig pen / octagon and a few other things over 4 yrs.

How thick of material can the plasma go? Mine could only do 1/4 inch well, anything over that was slow.

5 yr warranty is great for a welding machine.

3/4 is the recommended maximum, I am going to take a tig class after the stick class is done. Kind of excited for tomorrow night.

Crap, I got to upgrade my compressor as well.

60 gallon with 3.5 hp, 130 psi?

Recommended is 5 CFM @ 90 psi/ 30 Gallon tank, Mine is 29 but shouldn't an issue according to the moderator who answered my question on the forum, biggest concern is the airflow, I just noticed that the airflow is rated 5.7 scfm @90 psi, hope that doesn't throw things off, will find out wed.

I checked their distributor in Canada, seems they only offer 3 of the models up there right now but are cheaper with the exchange rate, the powerpro 164 is 1399 here, would be 1021 in usd up there, crazy.

Seems this guy might have found a solution if it is an issue, he swapped out the motor on it.

If I returned it they would charge me a 20 percent restocking fee, so roughly 80 bucks, the motor isn't much more than that.

I would think the 20 percent coupon work on that since it technically isn't a compressor, just the motor.

Asked my instructor about the everlast, he actually bought one of the first ones years ago when they started selling them, it had some issues but with the new upgrades and warranty he would have no issue recommending them.

Mine always seemed tired. Working steel is not a fun day time job in the tropics.

well, it will be here Monday, seems I originally ordered through amazon.com directly and they shorted me, everlast themselves are listed under 3rd party sellers so I gave them a call and asked if they had any in stock, they said yes, order it through them and they will ship it out today.
