pshhhhh, who cuts their biscuits like that??? The true southern way of buttermilk biscuits is to cut them out with the rim of a drinking glass, perfect round biscuits... Anyway, looks great guys, I'll see if I can find my aunt's sawmill gravy recipe and add it here sometime.

That's a good idea gator i'm gonna do that next time. The last batch I made were so big I had to throw them back in the oven because it was still doughy in the middle.

thinking of aunt sawmill's recipe and seeing greenies biscuits and gravy, I decided to make some myself today, but a very simple sausage gravy

grabbed my supplies

8454729116_5fd89a7bcc_z.jpg

dumped a pound of sausage into a pan

8453637447_e16a777316_z.jpg

browned it up

8454731162_59352a8c08_z.jpg

dumped in a 1/4 cup of flour

8454731682_e1cd910dbf_z.jpg

and stirred it in well to absorb the grease

8453640211_c6afa186ed_z.jpg

dumped in 2.5 cups of milk

and it thickened within a couple minutes

served over my biscuits I made today, was good
