They have tilapia, hybrid bluegill perch, and catfish. I was planning on running tilapia but they swear by the bluegills. I'm going to rey and find more info on them first. I've read alot about various australian perch, but not these. Should ve interesting.

You were asking about yields on the square foot method Quin? I'm not super experienced but what I have found is some things (especially larger plants) do better on their own. Melons, bush tomatoes, even corn or anything that is going to take up a lot of room might be better suited somewhere else and save the bed for veggies you can grow more densely. Carrots, onions, broccoli, beets, radishes etc all seem to do really well in sq ft beds.

Hope this helps!

wow, good deal on the fish, Quin!  It's good to have options.  I wish I knew more about Aquaponics.

That is exactly what I've been thinking dangerduke. I spent alot of time looking for vining varieties of cucumbers, squash, and of course indeterminate tomatos. My goal is to go vertical with everything i can. The biggest problem on that front it finding plants that thrive in 110 degree weather that also can be adapted to vertical growing. That is half the reason for the greenhouse, I am really hoping to at least moderate my temperatures a bit with evaporative coolers in the summer. Knock on wood, maybe I'll figure it out.

I really would prefer catfish myself but mrs eskimo hates catfish. What in the hell has to go wrong in a persons childhood for them to never learn to apreciate fried catfish?
