So I thought about moving the pallet coop into the yard area so I could tear down the original coop to make room for construction.
I removed all the fencing, the boys are now banned to the back field
I got the coop moved over without too much damage.
I quickly realized trying to get it through the fence would be futile. So I decided to re-purpose it for a hay feeder for the boys. I would cut out the front and move their big feed bin into it and put some slats along the front. Made sense to me.
So I ran some strapping through the end.
Oops.
No worries, I can screw that back on later. I'll just hook up to the bottom and gently pull it.
Crap. I got this.
I don't got this.
Now we are ready for re-assembly.
So over the weekend I figured It was time to try and move the coop.
I trimmed back the chicken wire that attached it to the run.
Removed some of the concrete from the ends and sides
And gently started lifting the end to drag it out.
Well crap
I'll just gently lift it back into position.
Double crap
My work here is done
