Alright, second year in a row my rutabagas ended up wormy by harvest time... Anybody here grow rutabagas successfully?

My best guess would be row covers to keep the flies out and prevent them from laying eggs.  You would have to put them on at the time you plant the seed and make sure you have the correct covers for the season.  Dont want to cook them under there on a hot sunny day.

Groin, from what I have been reading, I think you are right. I will have to try that next year; we love Rutabagas.
