Well, just told the wife I was selling the case.

What?

I'm selling the case, I'm digging it out tomorrow and throwing it on CL along with the snowmobile.

I thought we needed it.

We do, but we need something bigger. With all the snow we have had, we have spent 1000 dollars just this month moving banks, not counting what we paid for the yard last year. It's a great little tractor, but it doesn't fit our needs.

No response.

It's been nice knowing you all if I never post again

Well the wife is cool and just heard back on the JD, he said it is still for sale. I asked him what his bottom dollar was, told him I was in Maine and I didn't want to waste his time or mine driving out there to see it if I wasn't going to buy it. If I come out, it's coming home with me. Will make a new thread about it so not to derail this one.

He just responded

I'm sticking at 8500, have had a lot of calls, I think it's worth it

I responded

Okay, thanks. I was thinking 7500. If it doesn't sell let me know. I have the cash in hand right now.

Now we wait.

Dang, you are a stone cold negotiator. Both look nice. Make sure you get one with 4x4 -- they used to make those models without them. Power steering would also be a bonus - again another option.

I was clearing some snow last night and loaded up my old self propelled snow blower in the back of someone's van using the forks. This thing is so easy to drive.
