Here is a link to a web site that some folks in WV are putting together to promote WV products. I just opened a store on it, and I like the concept.
Good folks, good networking
Another bit of hitching I recently completed. It is for a young lady who won an assateaque pony by writing an essay. They had him for three years and last summer he clicked and died. It is of his hair.

I used to have a 1969 ford galaxy. I found an old junk yard that probably only had 50 cars in it. Believe it or not they had a 69 galaxy and a sunbird like my wife had. I though I might pick them clean of little interior items.
There was a garage with some guys working on a dirt track car. They told me to just close the gate behind me when I go back there.
I saw the horse when I entered but paid it no mind. I don't know how a big horse like that snuck up on me, but when I turned around he was 20 feet away and charging me. I ran between cars and he stopped. Then He started following me around cars and through the junk yard. The front part of the yard was pasture and the cars were near the back. I made a break for it...hauling ass towards the gate to escape. I would say 100 yards from the cars to the gate. I got the jump, then the horse took chase.
I made it out but was sweaty and red faced and completely winded. (For the record I can run 100 yards easily, just a little harder when your looking back and screaming like a girl)
I just got in my car and left. I glanced over at the garage guys and one was grinning ear to ear and another looked at me confused. Have no idea if they witnessed it or not.
Everyone I have ever told that story to just laughs and said I should have stood my ground. But I have no clue if that horse was retarded, blind, or just plain clumsy.
If that horse would have ran my but over, everyone would ask "Why didn't he get out the way?"
A few years later a dude I knew who rode bulls had a horse rear up and hoof his shoulder all the way to his stomach.
Oh and FYI....If you ever hear that I got ate by a bear. Know in your hearts that bear had to work for that meal.
