Sorry guys, I've been pretty busy with the new job (yes, in Flint). A lot has happened in the last few weeks. I started the new job, we sold our house in Livingston County, and put an offer in on a 2200 sq ft brick ranch just north of Flint on 5 acres. The offer was accepted, the place passed the inspection; now we are just waiting for it to pass the appraisal so we can close. We closed and moved out of our old place this weekend, so we are staying with my folks while we wait for the closing on the new place. Throw in that Mrs. Jonathco is pregnant with #3, and it's been a busy month!
I'll try to get a few pictures of the new place this weekend.

Fast forward 14 months and the Mrs. is beginning to talk about wanting to move to the west-side of the state, again... I really enjoy the opportunities for advancement at my current job; I have already received a promotion in the year I have been with the company. But then again, I wouldn't mind getting out of Flint; this city is no place to raise a family and only seems to be getting worse with the water crisis, etc...
I think I am going to start looking at jobs over that way and see if anything turns up... [reopens can of worms].

The West side of Michigan is where its at. I'm from the Grand Rapids area but live in Houston and I'd kill to get back there.

I imagine so; the Mrs. has not gotten over that, and even though all has been quiet ever since that day, she thinks about it and I know it bothers her if I am out in the field. Mix in Flint's other problems and it's just a bad situation.
