noticed this morning the pond is totally free of ice, the ducks appear to be going in to mating, need to build some nesting tubes for them this weekend, I am ready for summer!
probably get a 2 foot blizzard next week 🙁

I love the Pallets and tires for fencing. Not seeing Zip ties.
Our lilacs and pussy willow tree are just budding, nothing on the orchards yet. In the raised beds I see the garlic is about 2 inches up and the rhubarb is green and just through the soil.

14 inch zip ties were $1.99 at HF yesterday...I got a few.

I haven't had good luck with the HF ones, they snap too easily

Yeah, I've got garlic up too. In the orchard all the Autumn Olive and Goumi are budded out already. Some of the buds on the apples and Paw Paws are starting to swell.
I havent got zip ties at HF, but I was there yesterday. Almost pulled the trigger on a motor for the chicken plucker....and a drill press....and a belt sander...and a trailer....I really need to stop going there. Or at least go, get what i need to get and GET OUT!

Nice pic of your property from the berm. Supposed to be getting cold her for a bit. Im waiting for spring so I can stop boiing sap...whew! No chance of me scaling up past this ....50 taps is plenty.
