Well, as many of you may know I recently made a big move from California to my family homestead in West Virginia. I had never seen this place outside of a picture before, so I had no idea what to expect, or even what I was getting myself into. As it turns out, this place needs a LOT of work, but it's everything I had hoped it would be and much more!
This is the front of the house, and what I saw when I pulled up:
Off to the right of the house is what is apparently a garden, though I certainly couldn't tell when I first saw it.

The internet here is spotty at best, so uploading pics takes an awful long time, so as I am able I will post more of my projects around the house and exploration of our property.

Yep! Currently it's just myself and my mother in the house, with my sister, brother in law, nephew and niece living down the hill on a different part of the property.
