While I was behind the trailer, I discovered a pile of old bricks, so I decided to expand our cooking fire pit to accommodate a second grill for cooking meat over hot coals, in addition to the tripod for a stew pot or kettle. I even had some extra bricks so I put up a heat reflector on the side with the meat grill.

Our shade tent was looking kind of rickety, so I reclaimed an old piece of 1x2 and zipped the edge of a heavy duty tarp up behind it, directly to the bottom lip of the roof. Then we took some cinder blocks, banged some posts into them and drove a couple of stakes into the ground for support. Another piece of reclaimed wood for a crossbeam and now we have a semi-permanent shade area! I also cleaned up the front of the house some.

Danger is kicking but around here. Things haven't looked so good in a very long time. I have a yard! And garden beds! And clean dogs, and a sink buy the out house!
