Kioti's are a good value if there is a dealer that is local to support them. I think that BX23 is way overpriced. You can find a BX25 (your year/body style) or BX25D (my year/body style) for closer to that price, within a few thousand, that is much newer and has less hours. If you were going to go with a used and cheaper backhoe model you could find one a lot cheaper, I think.

Does he need a mowing deck? Kioti makes some model of tractors that pack a ton of power and in a smaller footprint but are a little too heavy and unruly for mowing or other light-on-the-ground work. Also, there tractors are worth less without a mowing deck, if they normally come with one, and you can get them for less.

Jon -- can you take some before/after pictures? I want to see what that attachment can do.

Sure thing; I'll be glad to... It's still in the bed of my truck; I've been waiting for my dad to swing by the house this weekend and help me unload it. She's a two-man lift for sure.

K -- that Volvo tractor is a monster.

Jon -- glad to hear things are moving along at your place. How is the new job?
