Yep, I am always surprised by the amount of missionaries we have in our small town, there are usually a group of 4 girls and 4 boys walking around all summer.

my kids went out front to play one morning. I heard some voices so I went outside to see who was here.

It was 2 JW's out front talking to my kids. I freaked out on them. started yelling to stay away from my kids and that they were on private property. My kids still laugh about it today.

when I asked my kids what they were saying, they said they asked what their names were and how long they lived here and their ages. What school they went to and a few other things.

  I was pissed.

About 20 years ago at our Farm, the Jehovah Witnesses must have had a membership drive, they were coming around about every 2-3 weeks in groups of 4 or 5...there's only about 9 house on the whole road.

There would be a elderly woman, a middle aged couple and a young couple...force in numbers...they would stand at the front door and knock and wait for up to 20 minutes.

We were all coming up with ways to get rid of them.

After about 2 months of this they finally pushed one guy too far...He went off like a rocket on them and let the dogs out of the garage after them...they were cornered on the porch by the barking dogs and guy was laughing his butt off...he didn't call off the dogs for a good 10 minutes...while this was going on a few neighbors saw what was going on and pulled in with their cars/trucks and joined the spectacle...I think the JW's were a bit concerned at this point...the neighbors made it clear that they were not welcome and they didn't need to come back.

A few of us thought for sure that we would see a bus of 'em the next week...only seen JW's once in all these years since.
