We had an interesting day. Both vehicles are in the shop. Ball joints. So we walked down to work on some fencing. Comanche really should have been named Houdini!
It was a gorgeous day and walking through the woods was great.
Of course, the horses love to come over and watch us while we are working. Comanche decided to lay down and nap, and I decided to go and sit with him. It is a magical feeling when a horse will allow you to sit and lean up against them when they are lying down.
I had been pretty frustrated about the car situation as my appointments have to be changed and it will throw my whole schedule off. But that few moments with my horse made it all ok.

Today I wrangled horses (they got out again) and mended some fences. Both vehicles are in the shop right now so I did a bunch of walking to take care of the animals. I broke out the chainsaw and cut down some brush along the driveway that has been hitting the truck when I go to get in or out. I also did some investigating on a few 55 gallon steel drums we have kinda near to the house. 4 are totally full of something, I have no idea what and one was almost empty. I decided to make the empty one into a burn barrel so I took the sawz-all to the lid and then broke out the mini-14 and shot a bunch of holes in it, then used it to burn some trash we had sitting around. All in all a pretty productive saturday.
Spotted, you should get a Haynes manual. That and the cost of a $250 tool set will allow you to fix damn near anything on those vehicles.
I'm not the car repair kind of girl. There is a lot I know how to do but I have no interest in trying to figure out car mechanics!
