Today I made a pair of orthotics for a horse. In Applied Equine Podiatry one of the things we can do is rehabilitate a foot or feet that is lacking structure, or having a breakdown of some sort. We use a specialized closed cell foam pad and literally create an orthotic!
First I get an impression of the foot. Then trim the pad to fit into the boot. Next I skyve (shave) it in the areas that I want less pressure. Then onto the horse!
The feet sink into the pad and it creates a supportive environment and stimulates the growth of tissue in equilibrium with the internal foot.

thats awesome spotted, why yes gw lol
today I snuck up to rinkus's in laws farm and grabbed some raw milk to make him some cheese, I decided to build a cheese press, so I did that, then I decided to use some of the fresh cheese to make lasagna from scratch, so I made sauce from my dehydrated tomatoes with our sausage from the pigs, I made pasta sheets from eggs from our chicken and it was pretty fricking good, uploading the threads now
