Very cool Al, I've got the same book in pdf format. How many chickens do you keep in the tractor?

We had 4 that fit easily. It has no bottom so we would carry it to a new location every other day and they would walk with us as it moved. they now use it as a roost at night. We let them free range 24/7 in the fenced in yard.

What I did today.

Cleaned up those windows that I pulled from the dumpster. Laid them over my tater tires with my thermometer

56 and windy outside and 90.9 in the tires! I think I might go ahead and plant today.

Checked on my little starter garden inside.

started the seeds sun the 19th of feb

already have lettuce and peas poking up and beets and parsley also!

I made those metal pans at the shop 12x12 with 2 inch walls. peat pots with seed starter soil, The light is just a 3' floro that I got 4 free. I just cut a cord in half and hard wired and plugged in to the timer system I use for my boa. 12 on 12 off

pretty sweet rhino. Didnt do much yesterday, I was out of town all day for a advocare event. Today I'm stuck at work but the gf is going to pick up a rabbit hutch and a few rabbits from her grandad so that will be something. I have tue, wed, thur off this week so I plan on getting two 4x8 raised beds built. This will be our first attempt at gardening so we dont want to be overwhelmed. Also picking up a tac 22 for the gf's bday just not sure what kind yet.

Got out for a few minutes today to walk the area where I'm gonna put my raised beds. Started doing some clean up of an old fence line that had at one time, what I can only assume judging by the size of the vines, muscadines or grapes growing on it. Gonna try to salvage the fencing to use as a barrier for a compost pile. The posts are shot, but the fence is in so so shape, so I think I can make it work if I can get it cleaned up some.

We drove around and looked at 4 properties today. Ranging from 1.5 to 7.3 acres. we decided against the house we were planing to buy. kinda bummed. Was just gonna cost to much to fix it up.

The 7.3 acre land is just weird with the house at the front literally 30 ft from a main road. Has a 20ft wide deep creek blocked access from the other 6 acres! Anybody know how to build a bridge that trucks could drive over?.

Looking for property is fun but emotionally and physically draining.
