Not sure. The other 6 acres are wooded, I would like to clear the middle 3. We kinda talked about fencing off that existing house and renting it out and built us a house of some sort across that creek.

I would say the creek is 20' across with 6 to 10 foot tall banks in spots. I could build us a swinging bridge to cross. but would eventually need something for a truck and tractor. The main road is a lot higher elevation and has guard rails up.

Must cross those to get to this

I was thinking cement bag retaining wall bridge, put in some drain pipes for water flow and start stacking and pinning each row down into the other and watering them down, they actually repair bridges like this in texas

not 2 awful expensive depends on size, a few bucks a bag at most.

QcD I mentioned that to the wife along with alligators.

That creek zigs through the property just so happens to cut the house off from the rest of land. I really don't know enough about the creek and water levels to mess with the flow.

This is the biggest property within 30 mins of my company under 100k. All the land just gets developed with neighbor hoods and golf courses. I would settle with less land if its semi private. We could go farther out but would probably have to quit the company I work for.

My wife isn't crazy about how close the house is to the highway.

We have found a few 5 acre lots but always some stupid odd shape thats not use able.

We had found a 2.3 acre parcel with a decent house, barn with 3 stables and 2 outbuildings. Found out a beltway is coming with 1/4 mile of the property, and it has these turkey farms across the road that stink to all hell.
