yah , they are still used pretty extensively up in the sticks. theyre getting pretty advanced too, on the icom site they have radios that work as a normal cb radio, ham radio, and can even satellite uplink. plus when i looked up accessories , you can get voice scramblers.

I have been thinking about getting into HAM, I have a neighbor a couple houses down that has his license, he gave me a open invite to go and pick his brain, I need to do that

Today is a big day. We will finish putting putting up our privacy fence and hog pen panles along the back. The reason we are going with hog pen panles is we have a pretty sweet view as we live on top of a bluff and we eventually want to build a walk off deck. The chicken coop will be done (gf's project) and we will have rabbits in the hutch by the end of the day. Pretty pumped!

Awesome GcD, that's a pretty good day I'd say. I'm going to try to get some materials priced today, so I can get a rough estimate of what I'm going to be spending on my raised beds an coop/tractor.

Today I put together my first raised bed frame. I still have to level the ground in the planter I'm using, but I have a day off tomorrow so I'll be working on that before the sun gets too hot most likely. I'm limited on space, so my boxes have to be 2x2

how did this go?
Not as well as I hoped for. The posts didn't set as well as I would have liked so I just did the sides and not the back of the fence. Checken coop is pretty much done, just have to stapple the wire in and screw on the roof. We had two rabbits but now we are down to one (rabbit virginity thread) but we have a buck and another doe come tomorrow. I have to work all weekend so nothing is getting done. Don't really bother me tho since it is so shitty/cold out.
