Haven't got much done the last couple of days, sinus/cold has me beat down, plus I'm trying to get my kayak, fly fishing, and camping stuff ready for a trip next weekend. I did get some of the wire fencing I'm gonna try to reuse cleaned off, gonna be a lot more work than I first expected, it's pretty grown up with vines. I had a little kerosene left, so I burnt off some of it, but I'm gonna need to get some more fuel before I can get it completely cleaned off. On a bright note, I did find someone local who sells 55 gallon plastic barrels pretty cheap, so I may try to pick up a few for use as rain barrels and maybe one to work on as a compost tumbler.

My tomatoes are up, 5 pepper plants, cucs. Melons and squash go in next month. Doing a tater stack. Still looking for land.
Figured out Im not leaving Texas.
After 6 generations, its not gonna happen. Looking for land along the gulf coast aquifer as its the only one not drying up.

I'm not sure if i want to keep the foil in there. seems more like a solar oven all foiled up. I didn't have enough to finish so this is as far as I got. I did add some weather striping around the windows and I need to paint or stain the outside. Also thinking of adding a light in there mostly for heat in the winter.
Once again I built something in my driveway and couldn't move it in the yard, my bro in law had to come over to help move it. This sucker is heavy! It is 3x5 and 30" in front and 36" in rear.

ordered 10 books from amazon! had to do it, my cart has been exploding for a while so i had to trim it down and just buy them.

Got more of the area of my yard I'm gonna use for raised beds cleaned up today. I had bought the kids one of those inflatable pools last year, but they never really used it. Got it drained and taken down this afternoon, tomorrow will be spent cleaning off the site and heading to Lowes to pick up lumber and assorted odds and ends. Should have my beds ready to go by this weekend barring any setbacks. I got lazy and haven't started many seeds yet, so this year looks like I will be planting transplants from the farmers market.
