I think I'm going to buy in April, sometime after my fight. Once I get the KO/win bonus I'll be able to treat myself to a new rifle.

Get a rifle that is already tapped for scope rings or has a rail on it. Dont get one with regular sights.
You really want a bolt action or are you looking for something else?

The Remington with the scope is nice, man. I wouldnt mind having that exact model myself.
Its all preference, especially with guns. Most of the big brands make a good rifle.

I'm fine with a bolt action. Its only for hunting so a bolt action will suffice. Hopefully I'll shoot well enough that I wont need a semi-auto.

Not sure if its better, the same, or worse than the Remington 700, but Mossberg makes a good gun in general.
