K, Couldn't get it to play.

Regardless of size of mag...you still need to hit something.

I understand that a 30 rd mag is a force multiplier and just throwing a lot of rounds at something may scare away some would be bad guys.

However, IMO, truly more effective to hit the bad guy.

I got a heck of a lot better at shot placement when I started shooting Single Actions.  Makes you think about squeezing off a round.

I love my Glocks...but they take a back seat to my love of Ruger wheel guns.

While this is a great video, I can see some of the gun control advocates using this data for their own arguments. Something along the lines of "well if it doesn't make much of a difference between the reload or not, why do you need a large capacity magazine?"

Illogical I know, but most of the arguments I hear from my friends on the left seem to lack that component.

the one thing I disliked about the video is the fact that the spare magazines were conveniently located on a barrel in front of the shooter. They didn't have to index them off a pouch or harness, taking away some of the realism.

All in all though a good video with nice hard numbers.

or better yet make everything a single shot

lol I wouldn't put it past them. The logic baffles me too. One minute it's hands up don't shoot, then next it's only police should have guns.
