Sometimes I think mine is too high but today I let it slide but luckily my wife did not.

I took her to the casino in Bangor for a couple hours, I don't enjoy it but she likes pulling the one armed bandit from time to time. If I play anything it's usually blackjack.

Anyways, I have no clue about roulette odds but I always like to study how others are playing so we walked by the the table. I noticed the people around the table and went and stood at the end to watch the spin with my wife to my left, I looked over and saw one of the guys that was around the table had moved to the other side of her. I didn't think anything of it, just thought he wanted a clearer view of the spin.

They called the winning number and I said to my wife let's go, I was thinking black and it hit red.

She said I think that guy was casing my purse.

What guy?

The guy standing next to me.

I asked where was he since he was no longer on her side.

She pointed and I saw he was on the other side of the casino, we checked her purse, everything was zipped up and nothing was missing but I went and mentioned it to security and they said they were keeping an eye on him. We left shortly after.

Sucks you can't even relax in public for a minute.

Situational Awareness is everything now a days.  When I first met my wife she was not up on SA.  I told her to look at the 'what if' of a situation and go from there, that helped.  You need to think about where you park, where you go, how you present yourself...many folks are looking for an easy target out there. Not really sure how safe it is to go anywhere now a days...heck, even staying at home can have issues (there have been about 3 home invasions in my area in the past few weeks, haven't seen those in a long time)...be vigilant...be safe.
