Most of the members here know who I am and my story,but for the new members who don't,my name is kvr28, I'm a virgo and enjoy long walks on the beach,

Now that I got that out of the way. I am the site owner and admin. We started this site in Feb 2012 so I could post some of my projects and have a avenue for discussion on homesteading, self-sufficiency and preparedness. We are in the process of trying to build a self-sufficient home and trying to expand our knowledge. One thing I realized over the years is the more I know, the less I know.

Grew up on a farm and got away from it in my late teens and twenties and just looking to try and get back to that simpler way of life.

Looking forward to learning from you guys here, everyone has knowledge to share whether or not you think you do, different perspectives are a good thing. Peace
