Welcome MM! What part of Pa you in now? I'm originally from Tioga county and my wife is from Reading. What part of Maine are you coming back to? A lot of natural gas line work going on in the Waterville/Augusta area

Out side of Harrisburg at the moment. I grew up in Yarmouth, just north of Portland, my mom still lives there and they are putting natural gas in this year! But if I were to move back it would probably be Gorham area/western Maine, I have family in Gray and Durham NH as well, so I hope I can find a place between those spots.

natural gas is being put in the major cities, I believe we have a pipeline out of Canada that delivers it, it's not produced in the state, I highly doubt it ever will, heck they have been trying to put in a LNG terminal down on the coast and people come out in droves to protest it and it gets shot down

Yeah, the companies just hop from island to island trying to get in but with no luck. Back in the 80s, I think it was, they put an oil plant on Cousins Island and ruined the view from the east end of Portland to the north, I think people have learned.
