Sounds like the issue of this thread is anxiety, not introversion. If you haven't yet done so, get it properly diagnosed. There is a whole spectrum of different anxieties and you should know which you're dealing with. Resist the medication angle if possible. It is a slippery slope of side effects and consequences. Look into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other "evidence based" approaches. "Mindfulness" meditation is supposed to be immensely helpful. Get her the coping tools and methodologies now. Anxiety untreated has the potential to get worse and derail lives. My hope is that you are catching it early enough to take control of it.

KAppt got pushed back to today, think it went well, primary is not comfortable giving here meds. think's she needs to talk to someone about what is causing her anxiety, he feels it's a combination of graduating, unknown future. She seemed much more relaxed than she has been the last couple days after the meeting.

HessianSeems to be helping, we started giving her Magnesium as well. The first part of this week was rough, we had to pick her up at school Mon-Wed. She made it through the whole day Friday and Thursday. She had her first meeting with the counselor and that seems to be helping. Been talking to a bunch of friends about, surprising how many people are dealing with the same thing.
