Well her girlfriends father that owns the car has this bright idea that he is going to have some of his cop buddies chase the kids in front of the school and then have them "lose" them down the road, have the kids pull into the school and then a few minutes later have the cops fly by with their lights and sirens going as a tribute to the Dukes as a grand entry.
I'm not cool with this and have a phone call out to him.

Sounds like he missed the part about "Professional Driver. Closed course. Do not attempt."
Pedestrians are bound to be all over and at risk, and cars at high speed can wreck. Tell him to go find a job in Hollywood and keep it off the local streets and away from school grounds.

Agreed, I'm kind of shocked if any local police agree to this idea.
