Not really. Her argument is that it takes time away from the kids and family, etc. It may be jealousy that I have a hobby etc. and she doesn't. She may be jealous thinking I'm doing something shady instead of BJJ. It's really a tough issue and she's not very rational about it imo. It's problematic to/for me because it wasn't like this when we were dating/engaged. And growing up, my parents had their own activities they did.

You ever think about bringing her to the gym to check out what you do there? Cause that sucks not being able to do something healthy for you with no real justification 🙁

Preaching to the choir my friend. lol Years ago, I thought about marriage counseling. Then I had a horrible thought . . . what if the counselor sides with her?? But that thought made me realize something further. If the counselor sided with her, I would still think she was wrong and I was right which made me realize that even if the counselor sided with me, it still wouldn't change the way my wife feels about it.
But I also have neck issues, so it's hardly worth having a civil war over.

thanks, ribs are somewhat healed so I am going to try some light rolling tonight, pretty psyched about the new gym, we use to train at the local golds but my instructor teamed up with marcus davis and we now train at team irish, 80 bucks a month for unlimited classes, going to pick up some judo and striking classes as well

Ribs were sorer then heck last night after class but felt pretty good this morning when I woke up, have another town meeting wed so won't be able to make class till next monday so I should be pretty good.
Met the boxing coach last night and we are going to set up some privates, have never really done much striking before, looking forward to it.
