Anyone done this? Several years ago I had great results with p90x before I sustained an injury at a BJJ tourney. Now that I have lost 35 pounds and am about half way to my goal it is time to start incorporating exercise.

Didn't even know they had released a p90x3 till someone had mentioned it to me several weeks ago. Did some research and liked what I saw.

Instead of being well over an hour all the workouts are 30 minutes long and are more HIIT. Equipment is minimal, basically a towel, dumbbells, chin up bar and a yoga mat.

Wife and I completed our first week yesterday and my thoughts so far, I like it a lot. The 30 minutes are much more conducive to my daily schedule. There is no fluff or down time with tony jabbering between sets or moves.

Only downside to that is there is not a lot of explanation of the set ups so it takes a few minutes to get into the groove.

Not a fan of the 30 minute yoga which was my favorite part of p90x, it is too rushed to the point where I didn't even break into a sweat so I am going to swap it out with p90x2 yoga which is just under a hour so it is right in the middle of p90x and p90x3 yoga.

Great thing is now beachbody has an on demand service that is free for 30 days which offers pretty much all of their workout videos, there are a few that are premium that are extra but it has all the p90x, tony one on ones, all the insanity workouts, hammer and chisel and more. So I can easily stream the p90x2 yoga instead of the x3

If someone is interested it would be a good way to test it out, it's 38 dollars a quarter after the free 30 days or 99 dollars for a year, so you could do the whole 90 days for a fraction of the cost of the dvd's. I believe it can be streamed through amazon fire, roku, etc but I just plug my laptop into my tv. Good for traveling as well.

Will post results in 90 days.

This dude had great results after 180 days.
