that transformation is amazing
yes/no. It's not as amazing as I originally thought. In that first picture, yes, she's thick, but there's a LOT of muscle there. To me it's not much different than what most body builders do. Now that last pic, if that's truly her before, then it's amazing.

I had a guy from Canada come to Ecuador to work on a ISP I owned. First day there he drank one mouthful of water to wash down a aspirin.
Over the next week he lost close to 60 pounds. He worked the last 4 days he was there and flew home weighing in at 240. lol
I'm usually around 145 (6% bf) and when I got stomach bugs there I would dip down to 110 or so within days.
Mind you I can go up and down 5-10 pounds daily depending on fluid intake.
I feel for folks with a slow metabolism, mine is very fast and I struggle on the other side of the spectrum.

I knew a kid like that in high school. He looked like a scarecrow. Tall and gangly as hell. He did everything he could to try and put on weight with no luck.

Had a disheartening setback last week. I have tendonitis in my right elbow. I was moving a patient at work and heard an audible snap, and my elbow immediately swelled. It's been randomly locking when I flex my elbow. Saw a surgeon this week and the prognosis would be 4-6 weeks to heal if I could rest it totally, probably closer to 8 weeks since I can't. I have a brace on that keeps enough compression to stop the random locking.
The plan is to keep doing cardio- I can still ride the airdyne, do footwork drills with low hurdles and boxes. Yesterday I was out on a nearby golf course with snowshoes, which was is always a great workout.
I guess this is one way to force me to do what I hate-cardio.
