he'd honestly be better off dropping out and endorsing Clinton. A split D vote will pretty much guarantee a trump presidency.

Yep you got that right. The most interesting part of this whole thing is the campaign contributions from trump to Hillary that got released. Now, there's no way to tell if that data has been altered in any way, but if it's true then it raises some interesting implications.
