How much does it cost to go out on a trip? I hear horror stories from people that by the time you add in the gas to haul the sleds, gas them up and maintenance it can easily cost a couple hundred dollars. My brother in law ran into some difficulties and was selling some of his toys, he wanted to sell me his Yamaha VMAX 600 with trailer for 300 bucks, I told him he was a moran, he said that may be true, but either way he was selling it with the trailer, so I bought it and told him I will probably sell it on CL, if I do I will send half the proceeds

Should I keep it or sell it? It looks like this

In my opinion (Normally doesn't matter) would not keep the sled. The trailer would be good for picking up some hay supplies and moving the four wheeler, tractor etc. If you were to get into sledding I would point you in the direction of a dbl up style of sled. Made for two people backrest, better suspension and other amenities. (Got to look out for the wifey)

Like so

Don't get me wrong super fun to do and as far as expense goes anything can happen it is a 2-stroke motor could blow at a moments notice could last 10 life times. But fun cost money anyway, so what I'm saying is sell the sled keep the trailer and enjoy a beer.

I wouldn't buy another one, only bought this to help BIL, but it would be nice to be able to ride out to the land if we wanted

Once you get the sled, you have to have the windproof clothing-cha ching! Then you're going to need to buy groceries for the weekend trip-cha ching! Then what's the use of a big trailer if you don't have another sled to fill it up-cha ching! Hotel for the weekend, drinks at the bar-cha ching! Muffler mods for your sled-cha ching!

Fun as hell, but like owning a boat.

Take it to Alaska, Sell, profit.

(just kidding, I know transporting it there would kill any potential profit)

Put that sumbitch up on Craigslist today.  Bet you can get a grand out of it.  Maybe even 1500.
