Had a job offer in the Valley when I was just turning 20. Being the caretaker of a private farm deep in the Valley.

There is something about epic walks that really grabs me and pulls me in. Hoping in two more years my daughter and I can do one in Europe through Spain and Southern France. We have already started thinking about how to get her ready for 20k a day at age ten.

Keeping a close eye on bicycle tech (tandem recumbent) for self charging power trains. lol

The owners were heading off to Europe for 6 years. Was a all in for 6 years kind of job.

The location was site unseen for me and I had one week to take the job/prep and be onsite.
